Posting requires GPS verification at the moment of posting. You have to be in the neighborhood to add to it. Comments stay within the neighborhood. Events are tied to a real location and verified at check-in.
Your feed shows what is happening on your block, not what an algorithm thinks you will click. There is no global feed. Standing is earned three ways: event check-ins (GPS-verified at attendance), engagement that other neighbors give the posts you make, and participation in event comment sections. Posting alone does not build standing. A post nobody on your block engages with does not count. The neighborhood, not the user, decides what counts.
Your Pond is your neighborhood’s living portrait. The Regulars are the people who show up enough that the Pond remembers them. Currents and Stories are how conversations and moments accumulate into the Pond’s record.
